Sorting through old possessions, moving to a new location — these and other similar activities are daunting at any age. As people become older, these kinds of projects can become virtually overwhelming. That’s where we can help.

Junk Removal
After decades of collecting things, people reach a point in their lives where they need to pare down. But it’s not so easy. Some items can and should be removed. Others may be valuable, and should be saved or recycled, given to loved ones, or otherwise distributed.

We appreciate the magnitude of this task, and have the patience and understanding to help our customers through the difficult process. We’ll organize their possessions, and assist them in determining how each should be handled. We can:

Delivering to relatives
Would they like to give certain items to children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, or other family members? No problem. We’ll keep track of all the assignments, and make sure the valued objects reach their new homes safe and sound.

Recycling
Do they want to be environmentally-friendly? We know which types of items go to which recycling facilities, and will take each to the appropriate place.

Charitable donations
Not only will we drop any donated items at the Salvation Army, but we’ll deliver the receipts to our customers, so they have a record for their tax returns.

Moving to Assisted Living
We work especially well with people who are making the transition to an assisted living facility. The prospect is already traumatic enough, without the added anxiety of dealing with a lifetime of accumulated possessions.

Through long experience, our polite and caring staff do their best to make the entire event as easy as possible for our customers, from helping to organize and categorize all their items, to carefully installing them in their new home. We know that a kind manner and empathetic nature are at least as important as the handling of the physical items.

Cleaning
Once everything else has been done, we’ll clean all areas of the house or apartment that is being vacated, again removing all of the worry from our customers. They know that we’ll take care of everything, so that they don’t have any added stress.
